1. What does the term “Attended Bot” mean?

Answer: Attended Bot, so-called the supervised robot, is used to optimize processes and costs, and for tasks where full automation is impossible. In order to perform the assigned task, the robot must be launched by a human, supervised by him and interact with him.

2. What does the term “Unattended Bot” mean?

Answer: Unattended Bots work without human intervention, and their use means full automation of the process. Robots performing tasks are started automatically.

3. How to choose the right type of robot – employ Attended or Unattended Bots in your company?

Answer: Where possible, unattended robots should be used, because only in this way can work be performed fully automatically without human supervision. Attended robots, despite cheaper licenses, are much more expensive to create and maintain.

4. What are the forms of robot licensing?

Answer: Companies providing robotic platforms use many forms of licensing. The most basic division concerns attended and unattended licenses, but the price lists also include fees for development and test environments, the so-called orchestrator or control room, use of AI or OCR mechanisms.

5. Should companies prepare an organization robotization strategy?

Answer: This document, approved by the representative of the company’s management board, presents a high-level, comprehensive approach to the implementation of robots. There is no obligation to prepare such a document, but in practice, in order to achieve real business goals, it is necessary to think about robotization from the perspective of the entire company.

6. Can robots think?

Answer: Currently, the most commonly used robots in companies do not have cognitive abilities. They are usually based on a strictly defined and developed manual. Many companies are experimenting with the use of cognitive techniques and artificial intelligence, but these are in fact specialized tools designed to perform specific tasks.

7. Can modern technology help us prepare for the Christmas Time?

Answer: Of course. Although family gatherings still look the same – family at the Christmas table, smiles on their faces, robots will probably be able to prepare the entire Christmas Eve dinner in the kitchen in a few years. Also at work, robots will relieve us of the tasks that must be done despite the holiday season, so that we can decorate the Christmas tree and prepare gifts for loved ones. Robotization is becoming more and more popular and its application in life will not only make it easier for us to prepare for Christmas, but will also change our everyday life to be more interesting.

8. Can robots work on holidays?

Answer: Yes. Robots can work not only at night, but also much longer than employees, and even on holidays. Therefore, handing over duties to robots will ensure that tasks will be performed without interruption even during the holiday season.

9. Is it worth investing in improving back office processes?

Answer: Most companies focus primarily on sales and acquiring new customers. However, one should not forget about the management of internal processes on the so-called company back office. You have to be aware that the correct handling of back office processes is important, which is why the most tedious and repetitive processes can be handed over to robots.

10. Can we forget about the deployed robot after launch?

Answer: Definitely not. Thinking that once implemented the robot will work all the time and we do not have to deal with anything is wrong. You have to take care of the robot – it has a life cycle like any other IT software. It is also necessary to monitor its work, report and audit.

11. Does the robot work flawlessly?

Answer: The robot usually does not make mistakes, it works according to strictly defined instructions. Therefore, if there are any errors in the robot’s work – they usually result from poorly prepared instructions or poor analysis of the robotic potential.
